A former US Military Special Agent, he is a fun and energetic interview who also brings facts and logic to what is often a fringe topic. He has published over 40 books, about evenly split between historical fiction and non-fiction, including the best-selling thriller Panama Red, the first book in a series that has sold over 100,000 copies. He holds four graduate degrees, including a doctorate in engineering, and he hosts a weekly podcast on the writing industry that often receives as many as 30,000 views per episode.
